President & CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), Jim Ryan, said that the new retail price (SRP) for the PS5 game console applies to certain regions, including Indonesia.

In Indonesia, the PS5 has experienced a price increase of IDR 900,000 from the initial official retail price (SRP) announced by Sony in January 2021. Sony also carried out similar policies in a number of countries, such as in Europe (up 10 percent), Japan (up 21 percent), to the United Kingdom (up 6 percent).

  • Australia : 50 Australian dollars (Rp 513 thousand) increases to 799.95 Australian dollars (Rp 8.2 million) for the regular version and 649.95 Australian dollars (Rp 6.6 million) for the digital model
  • Mexico: 1,000 Mexican pesos (IDR 741,000) increases to 14,999 Mexican pesos (IDR 11.1 million) for the regular version and 12,499 Mexican pesos (IDR 9.2 million) for the digital model
